⚬ Description ⚬
When it comes to shooting, Steph Curry is an anomaly among NBA players. Curry clearly isn't the tallest and isn't the strongest. He doesn't fit the mold of what I guess a traditional great player is. But it is what makes Curry different - the ability to create open three-point shots for himself while defences throw everything his way, much like Michael Jordan could find his way to the rim against loaded defences.
His calm, composed, down-to-earth nature, while being one of the most famous basketball players on the planet, is mind-boggling at times. Driven yet composed. Competitive yet humble. With Curry, it’s not a question of what drives him. He has always been very open about his Christian faith and he always gives the credit back to God by pointing to the sky after his shots. His point-to-sky gesture can traced all the way back to his college days. His consistency and commitment is also what I love about him.
With faith, even those dark days where he constantly suffered from ankle sprains and injuries (symbolized by ivy creeping over his right foot in this collage) couldn't smother him. “For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. ” — Jeremiah 29:11.
